In the course of the "Mühlbocha Gossnkuchl" gastronomic specialties are offered every Wednesday in Mühlbach's picturesque alleys during the summer season.

From 7:00 until 12:00 p.m. you can sample tidbits like "Tirtlan", "Valler Struzn", Rippilan, various types of noodles and dumplings and numerous other delicacies. Craft lovers can watch the work of potters, weavers, basket weavers and bobbin lace makers every Wednesday on July 18th and 25th, and also on August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and the 26th 2007.

On July 22 2007 the "Almhüttenfest" (alpine hut festival) in the Altfass Valley by Meransen takes place. Local associations will offer typical alpine products at their booths around the Pranter Stadel Hütte and the Wieserhütte. Schuhplattler and folk dance groups make the festival complete.

During the summer, weekly Tyrolean evenings take place in the large event hall in Meransen. Every Thursday the riflemen's band of Meransen, the folk duet Gitschberger or other bands as well as Schuhplattler, provide great entertainment to all.

On August 4, 2007 the 10th edition of "Art under the Stars" takes place in Mühlbach and will again be host to over 50 artists from all over Northern Italy and Austria. The alleys of Mühlbach will be "decorated" with works of well and lesser-known artists.

An interesting cultural event for both the tourist and the native directly in the community's shopping mall.

A band accompanies the event.

On the last Sunday in August the alpine hut village of the Fane Alp in Vals, the only one of its kind in South Tyrol, is host to the traditional "Fane Festival". For the past 20 years the young and the old have enjoyed celebrating together in the beautiful alp. At 10:00 a.m. an open-air field Mass rings in the beginning of the festivities. At lunchtime, when the pungent alpine air has whetted your appetite, the various huts offer local dishes. Folk groups like Schuhplattler, Goaßlschnöller and accordion players from Vals and the surrounding areas provide musical entertainment until the late afternoon.
