Autumn holiday in South Tyrol come for the Törggelen in the Eisack valley

On the “Keschtnweg” (Chestnut Path)during Törggele season

When the days get shorter and the forests turn colourful, a hiking tour is truly worthwhile: Move in the magnificent play of colours of nature, enjoy a fantastic vista in mostly clear skies and discover another fabulous walking path: the ‘Keschtnweg’ (Chestnut Path) along the Isarco Valley. During the Törggele season, this charming path from Bolzano to Bressanone is a must for every pleasure vacationer. It takes you past wineries, to picturesque Baroque buildings and continues under the canopy of mighty chestnut trees, which gave this tour the name. Moreover, we also offer guided walks starting from the house, where you can enjoy the autumnal splendour of colour around Maranza. Easy hikes across mountain pastures such as the ‘Almhüttenrundweg’, but also tours through the Altafossa Valley or to the Seefeld Lakes are perfect in this season. Whether you hike in the Isarco Valley or in the hiking region Gitschberg Val Giovo – don’t miss the ancient tradition of Törggelen. In this season, we at the Huberhof cook seasonally. And after a fulfilled hiking day, our wellness oasis waits for you!
