Milking, cleaning, grooming, and much more
What does life on a farm look like? To experience it all up close, your children can join us during our daily work in the stables and fields: raking hay, feeding the animals, collecting eggs, milking cows, grooming horses, feeding calves, cleaning out stalls … there are plenty of chances to help out. They’ll also discover how the eggs and milk from our animals reach the breakfast buffet and learn the importance of zero-kilometre products at a young age.
Gentle Haflinger horses and cheeky ponies gallop over the meadow below our hotel. Have your children always wanted the chance to see the world from horseback? Excellent, because as part of our weekly programme, we offer pony rides for children from May to November. Breeding Haflinger horses is our pet project (literally) and is something we’re passionate about. The highlight: the sweet foals that are born every spring!
Our loyal four-legged friend
Of course, we’re talking about Akira, our farm dog. She is a good-natured Labrador that gave birth to eight sweet puppies in 2021. The little balls of fluff not only delight us, but also our guests, and always prompt an enamoured “Oooh!” Akira likes to spend her day relaxing in the stable, with our animals in the pasture, or takes herself on walks. She loves children and enjoys being thoroughly stroked and petted by our guests.
