Huberhof is a stay that offers the South Tyrol Guest Pass, also known as the Almencard. Discover South Tyrol and leave your car safely parked at our hotel car park. With South Tyrol's well-developed public transport system, you can explore the region's most beautiful castles, fortresses, and exhibitions on-site free of charge.

South Tyrol Guest Pass

The South Tyrol Guest Pass facilitates exploring the region using public transport and provides access to over 80 museums throughout the region. It cannot be used for long-distance trains, the transport of bicycles and pets, or special bus lines. Pass holders must validate the pass before travelling. For timetable information, we are happy to assist at the reception, or we recommend using the Südtirolmobil app, which serves as a comprehensive travel companion.

Bus and train services in all of South Tyrol

Your South Tyrol Guest Pass allows you free use of the excellent South Tyrol bus and train network. Explore the region from Innichen to Lake Reschen and from Brenner to Trento. Note that only regional trains and local buses accept the South Tyrol Guest Pass.

Please scan your pass before boarding a train at one of the blue ticket machines. On buses, your ticket is validated directly and free of charge on board.

If you wish to bring a pet, please note that an additional ticket is required for its transport. The South Tyrolean transport association charges 15 cents per kilometre, and wearing a muzzle is mandatory.

The transport of a bicycle is allowed on specially marked trains and buses; a 7-Euro-day-pass must be purchased for this purpose. Are you looking for current timetables? Visit the Südtirolmobil site.

Cable cars

With your South Tyrol Guest Pass, you enjoy free access to the Gitschberg and the Jochtal cable cars once daily from 9th of May to 12th of July 2024 and again from 16th of September to 2nd of November 2024. In addition, the cable car connection from Mühlbach to Meransen is available all summer long without additional costs.

Museums, Castles, and Exhibitions

With the Huberhof South Tyrol Guest Pass, you gain free entry to more than 80 museums and collections, bringing you closer to the rich cultural diversity of South Tyrol. Highlights include the Diocesan Museum Hofburg in Brixen, Rodenegg Castle in Rodeneck, and the fascinating sites of the Messner Mountain Museums, including MMM Ripa in Bruneck and MMM Corones at Kronplatz. The South Tyrol Archaeology Museum in Bozen, famous for the Ötzi the Glacier Mummy, and Castle Tyrol, the regional museum for cultural and regional history in Tyrol, offer unique insights. Other must-see places are MMM Ortles in Sulden-Stilfs, MMM Juval in Kastelbell, Wolfsthurn Castle – the regional museum for hunting and fishing in Ratschings/Mareit, the Mining World Ridnaun-Schneeberg in Ridnaun, and Franzensfeste Fortress.
