For us at the Huberhof, it is not only the vision of "tourism in the future" that is of enormous importance, but above all recognizing the most important steps to get there. Environmental challenges against which the Huberhof has already taken the first steps towards a green future years ago with local 0-kilometer products and the saving of energy and packaging materials.
Thanks to the Huberhof Green Deal, our gourmet cuisine with fresh, locally sourced products offers sustainable culinary delights that also help us to preserve the beauty of our mountain region and safeguard it for future generations. Milk and dairy products, eggs and herbs come directly from the hotel's own farm and are therefore in the hands of the Huberhof from origin to consumption.
We are convinced that wellness holidays and sustainability do not contradict each other, but complement each other in terms of sustainable luxury. Whether it's alternative travel, sustainable transport on site or relaxing in our 27 meter long heated infinity pool... this is perfectly possible from a green perspective through conscious reduction and sustainable trading strategies.
Our guest card, for example, offers the opportunity to use public transport free of charge all year round and thus discover the cultural treasures of South Tyrol, such as Lake Braies, the Villnösser Geißler or the World Natural Heritage Site of the Dolomites, in an environmentally friendly way. The use of our modern CHP (combined heat and power unit) also ensures efficient use of fuel on site and the solar and photovoltaic systems even produce their own electricity. Whether relaxing or active holiday. With Huberhof's Green Deal, our guests are offered unforgettable and climate-friendly holidays in a sustainable setting.
The goal of climate neutrality and energy self-sufficiency will continue to be a challenge for the 34-room Huberhof in the future.
At the same time, however, this also gives the Huberhof the opportunity to develop further in this area and to define solution-orientated strategies. We are ready to take on this challenge.
